Open Shooting Hours

  • Sunday – 12:30 pm to ~2:30 pm
  • Wednesday – 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • January through December

No Open Skeet Shooting – 3/31, 5/12, 5/26, 6/16, 7/3, 9/1, 11, 27, 12/25

Winter League Skeet Dates

  • January 7, 14, 21, 28
  • February 4, 11, 18, 25
  • March 3, 10, 17, 24

Skeet Rules

  1. Hearing and eye protection are mandatory for everyone on the range.
  2. Carry your shotgun with the action open at all times. Handle and carry shotgun with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
  3. Load shotgun only when you are at the firing point on your station.
  4. Unload your gun if moving from one station to another.
  5. Stay on your stand and keep the gun muzzle downrange as you eject and reload.
  6. In the event of a delay, unload your shotgun.
  7. Only authorized personnel may enter the trap houses.
  8. Absolutely no unsupervised children at any time on the premises.

Skeet Closed on these dates for High Power matches:

  • Tuesdays (closed at 4:30pm) 5/7, 5/28, 6/18, 7/16, 8/6, 8/27
  • Saturday (8am-6pm) 3/23, 4/27, 5/25, 6/22, 7/27, 8/24, 9/28, 10/26

Please do not use the Skeet Range for portable or hand thrown targets. Members may use the Trap Field.

Trap Rules – Shotgun Only

  1. These Ranges are open Sundays 12:30 pm until finished & Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm weather permitting. No hand throwers or portable throwers at these times.
  2. Hand & portable throwers are welcome any other dates and times, but you must be a CSLC Member to participate. If you have a day pass, you must be accompanied by a CSLC Member – NO EXCEPTIONS.
  3. These Trap Ranges are closed during Special Clay Shoots or Big Bore Shoots. Check your handbook for these dates.
  4. Eye & ear protection mandatory.
  5. Keep your action open until it is your turn to shoot.
  6. Always keep your barrel pointed in a safe direction.
  7. Trap loads only 2 3/4″ shells with lead shot no bigger than 7 1/2.
  8. No shooting beyond the concrete pads.
  9. Stay off trap houses. Do not shoot trap houses.
  10. Pick up your shells & other garbage when finished.
  11. No horseplay or foul language.
  12. These rules apply to everyone on this trap range (shooting or not).
